About Us

Shoppe Lieu was born from a shared passion for storytelling through design. Deanna Johnson, a Philadelphia-area interior designer known for redefining the East End of State Street with her award-winning boutique, Marché, joined forces with creative visionary Sandra Mulry — the brand strategist behind the Kennett Creamery and other imaginative, repurposed spaces throughout Kennett Square Borough.

Together, they envisioned a destination where beauty, history, and character converge. At Shoppe Lieu, we celebrate the enduring allure of antiques — each piece a portal to another time. Our curated collection spans furniture, vintage clothing, jewelry, and objets d’art, selected not for trends, but for timeless soul.

Lieu is also home to a collective of expert vendors, each bringing their own eye and story to the space. This collaborative model creates a rich, ever-evolving experience — offering layers of perspective, provenance, and possibility.
